VCP EDUCATORS WIN 2022-2023 AWARDS AND NOMINATIONS
Victory College Prep educators uphold the values they teach their students. Our teachers are here to make a difference, and to no surprise, the Indianapolis community has noticed as well.
The INNOPOWER Black Excellence in Education Awards, sponsored by Teach For America, “honor outstanding public and private school professionals and thank them for their dedication and commitment to academic excellence for all students.” This year’s VCP winners are;
- Megan Kinsey, 7-12 School Content Specialist
- Amber Walker, 7-12 School College and Career Readiness Advisor
- Ariane Washington, 7-12 School Social Worker
- Lisa Wills, K-6 School K-6 School Content Specialist
The Indianapolis Colts’ Classroom Quarterback Award, presented by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, “recognizes school teachers, administrators, nurses, and staff members who go above and beyond for their students, schools, and communities.” In total, they selected 10 finalists who all won a $100 Amazon gift card for school supplies, two tickets to the first regular season home game of the Colts 2023 season, and Colts Merchandise.
VCP K-6 School Principal, Kim Randall, was one of the Classroom Quarterback Finalists this year.
In 2022-2023 we continued a legacy of award winning teachers like the 5 that won Teacher of the Year in 2021-2022. We are excited to see what 2023-2024 will hold!
