K-6 Music Program
With the year quickly coming to a close, it is tradition that VCP host our music program in our small gym. Unfortunately due to the current health climate, we were unable to share in person. Ms. Dixon wanted to ensure that all families would be able to see the hard work of the K-6 scholars and hosted a virtual Holiday Music Program.

Uncertainty and angst: What the day after Election Day looked like in America’s classrooms
The questions came on Zoom, from students logging into morning meetings and virtual lessons from their bedrooms and kitchen tables. They came in person, from masked children raising their hands in socially distanced classrooms.
“When will we know?” they asked. “What does this mean?”

THe mind trust awarded $1.54 million to support indy schools
The Mind Trust, an Indianapolis-based education nonprofit organization, today announced it has been awarded up to $1.54 million dollars to support Indianapolis schools during the critical period following an abrupt shift to e-learning caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The Mind Trust will deliver in partnership with Instruction Partners in eight schools from three local networks: Christel House Schools, Tindley Accelerated Schools, and Victory College Prep.
