VCP is one of the few charter schools in Indianapolis to provide transportation to our scholars.   With 17 bus routes and over 250 satellite stops, our service is unlike any other.  We partner with Miller Transportation for all of our routes and field trips.  This service is provided on a first-come first serve basis to families.

2020-2021 Assignments

VCP is working to get assignments ready for the upcoming year.  If you have moved recently or need to update your address, please email the Manager of Transportation before May 15th to ensure your scholar’s bus stop will be correct for the 2020-2021 school year. Assignments will be available on PowerSchool in mid-June.  Edits to assingnments can be made at a later time that will be announced this summer. 


Most frequent questions and answers

If you are a new scholar, this is apart of our enrollment process.  Our Family Coordinator will work with the Manager of Transportation to get a stop prepared for your student. 

To update your scholar’s stop, the legal parent/guardian must complete a change of address form.  Once submitted to the front office, a bus change typically takes approximately 48-72 hours to be completed.

There may be times when a bus is running late due to traffic or weather.  To stay as informed as possible, download our app in the google play/apple stores.  We send out notifications to families to alert them to updated times.

Satellite stops are convenient locations for several scholars to board at once.  We do not offer home based stops. If your scholar has a medical need or disability, please reach out to the Special Education Coordinator for assistance.
