WITH FUNDRAISER, VCP SCHOOL NETWORK CONTINUES HONORING THE MEMORY OF AMBER MORGAN
HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS RAISED WILL BENEFIT PROGRAMS TO END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Led by the teachers in the K-6 School and supported by the Firehawks Athletics Department, the VCP School Network celebrated the memory of former kindergarten teacher Amber Morgan by raising funds to support the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) during Firehawks Athletics girls basketball games on February 6.
A total of $656 was collected to support domestic violence prevention. This amount included all proceeds from entry tickets sold to the basketball games and the revenue from a prize raffle.Â
K-6 School teachers and ICADV representatives offered remarks during the half-time of the elementary girls’ game, and Amber’s family joined dozens of our VCP community members in wearing specially made t-shirts honoring Amber, who died tragically in 2024 before the start of the school year, which would have been her third at VCP.
